Vintage 9ct, 9k, 375 rose gold Maharaja & Genuine red coral Elephant charm, pendant

A Gorgeous Vintage hand carved, genuine red coral charm of an Elephant, skilfully carved showing fine details of mouth, trunk, ears and facial features. Sitting atop the elephant is an Indian King ‘Maharaja’ in a howdah (a carriage used in the past for riding elephants).
Highly sought after this charm measures 18x9x26.5mm (including bail).
Hallmarked as follows: 9, 375 (denotes 9ct gold) leopards head (London assay mark) n (date letter for 1968)
Complete with gold fittings, the charm could also be worn as a pendant.
