Stunning, Vintage 9ct, 9k, 375 Gold Garnet lavaliere necklace, length 16.5″ / 42cm
This pretty necklace features eleven garnets mounted on a rolo link chain, with drop attachments on the three central garnets.
There are a total of fifteen garnet gemstones ranging in size from 6mm to 5mm, all beautifully made in 9ct yellow gold.
The necklace measures 42 cm in length and 27.5mm in width (central drop).
Complete with bolt and jump ring clasp.

The name “garnet” comes from the Latin word “Garanatus,” meaning “seedlike,” in reference to a pomegranate.
This reference makes sense as small garnets look like the bright red seeds you find inside in a pomegranate.
