Description
Early Victorian Natural Salmon Pink Coral Beaded Necklace, length 16.5″ / 42cm
Antique, Victorian Coral beaded necklace, restrung with a mixed size of coral beads (most likely to have originally been a graduated row), the largest coral bead measures 6.2 x 5.7mm and the smallest 4×3.5mm, complete with gold metal clasp.
The necklace would probably have been given as a Christening Present (this was a popular gift during the Victorian Period as it was believed that Coral would protect the wearer).
