Description
Victorian high carat Gold Guilloche Enamel, Diamond & Pearl heart, bar brooch, lace pin,
Circa 1890
Antique,
late Victorian, 18ct gold, pink guilloche enamel, heart mounted with a
diamond and pearl flower motif, the heart is mounted on a 15ct gold bar
brooch decorated with two seed pearls.
There are a total of six
tiny rose-cut diamonds surrounding a 3.5mm half natural pearl. This
brooch would make a great conversion into a ring or pendant.
The
pale pink enamel shows some signs of wear around the edges, but this
doesn’t really detract from its beauty. (please see images).
A romantic brooch with the heart and diamonds symbolizing eternal love, the pearls – purity and the pink enamel for romance.
Not
hallmarked but tested as 18ct (heart) 15ct gold (brooch) & a base
metal pin (often used for strength when pinning to outer garments).
This romantic brooch is beautifully presented in new black leatherette & velvet box as displayed.
