Victorian Dark Red Coral two row necklace on 15ct, 15k, 625 gold barrel clasp, Circa 1890
Antique double row of coral beads strung onto a 15ct yellow gold barrel clasp.
The necklace features two rows of natural dark ‘salmon red’ coral beads measuring 16″ / 41cm in length.
This necklace was most likely worn as a rope necklace with the two lengths of coral twisted (as shown in the images)
The coral beads are graduated with the largest bead measuring 6x4mm and the smallest 2.5mm.
The Coral beads are a dark “salmon red” colour and they display the graining that naturally occurs in coral.
Not hallmarked but tested as 15carat gold

WEIGHT: 21.7 grams
