A fabulous boxed set of Victorian, Art Nouveau, 9ct Rose gold Cufflinks and shirt studs.
The cufflinks have an engraved Ivy pattern, the Victorians often used motifs and designed jewellery to have hidden messages and meanings.
Ivy represents – everlasting, love, marriage, eternal faithfulness & friendship.
This cufflink and shirt stud set was probably given as a wedding gift.
Fully hallmarked as follows:
9.375 (denotes 9ct gold), anchor (birmingham assay mark) a (date letter for 1900) and JS (makers initials)
Beautifully presented in its original tooled leather and gold edged domed box with cream velvet and silk interior.
Perfect for a vintage wedding!!
