RESERVED – Antique, Victorian 18ct 18k 750 yellow Gold Opal seven stone, carved hoop ring, Circa 1890
A fine Opal carved hoop ring featuring seven graduating Opal gemstones mounted in a carved hoop setting. The ring is beautifully made in a rich 18carat yellow gold.
Hallmarked; none (tested as 18carat gold).
The Opals are very fiery, they radiate the colours of the rainbow, with flashes of blues, greens, reds, purples & orange, each one emitting a neon glow.
Estimated total carat weight is 0.65ct
The head of the ring measures 20.5mm across the finger and 5mm wide.
Opal is the traditional birthstone for October.
