Exquisite Victorian 18ct, 18k, 750 Gold Old-cut Diamond & Sapphire (0.90ct) five stone ring, Circa 1895
Five old-cut gemstones adorn this quintessential Victorian ring, beautifully made in 18ct yellow gold with three Sapphires and two diamonds, mounted in a carved hoop mount with slightly tapering shoulders terminating to thick strong shank.
The centre Sapphire measures 4mm and is flanked by two x 3.5mm, old-cut Diamonds and two, 3.3mm Sapphires.
The Sapphires are a lovely royal blue colour, there is a slight abrasion to the facets on the end Sapphires (visible under a jewellers loupe), they have a combined carat weight of around 0.55ct
The diamonds are clean and fiery and have an estimated carat weight of 0.35ct
Giving a total gemstone carat weight of around 0.90ct

Diamond is the traditional birthstone for April
Looks great worn as an engagement ring or stacked with other rings.
The width of the ring is 5mm and length across the finger is 19.5mm.
