Exquisite Victorian 18ct, 18k, 750 Gold Old-cut Diamond 1.00ct carved hoop ring, Chester 1900
Five old-cut diamonds adorn this quintessential Victorian ring, beautifully made in 18ct yellow gold with five slightly graduated diamonds, mounted in a delicately carved scrolling gallery and plain shank.
The Diamonds are beautiful old-cut, deep gemstones, they are not perfect, but are full of character. The centre diamond has an estimated clarity SI1 and carat weight 0.30ct, flanked by two x 0.21ct Diamonds (one with inclusions) and the end diamonds are approx 0.10ct. The centre diamond is a champagne colour and the remaining diamonds are cognac coloured.
Scattered across the setting are eight tiny rose-cut diamonds.
