Victorian, 18ct, 18k, 750 Gold, Flower pearl stick pin with french hallmark of horse’s head
Circa 1838 to 1847
This fine, late Georgian, early Victorian stick pin is beautifully made with ribbons of 18ct gold formed to make a rosette or flower with a central pearl.
The ribbons of gold have a brush satin finish band running through the centre (please see images)
The pearl is mounted in a buttercup setting and the flower is mounted onto a crown setting.
There is a french hallmark of a horse’s head (denotes 18carat gold) the horse’s head hallmark was used on jewellery between 1838 to 1847 (a horse’s head with a double frame was used between 1847 to 1919).
This collectable antique stickpin comes in a new black leatherette and velvet box as displayed.
