Made around the late Victorian, Art Nouveau period.
This beautiful piece of jewellery has three graduating Opals set with four old-cut Diamonds, mounted in an 18ct carved hoop setting.
The central Opal measures 4 x 6.5mm, flanked by two diamonds either side and two, 3mm Opals. The head of the ring measures 17.5 x 8.3mm.
These beautiful Opal gemstones are very lively, they exhibit a rainbow of colours including greens, pink, orange, blues & purple.
Hallmarked as follows: Crown, 18 (denotes 18ct gold) & Chester assay mark
