Victorian 15ct, 15k, 625 Rose Gold Citrine glass, ornate brooch, Circa 1840
Early, Victorian 15ct rose gold brooch featuring a central 12 x 14.5mm Citrine coloured glass, mounted in the centre of an open worked ornate frame.
The brooch has a T-bar, gold pin and C-Clasp fitting.
Antique brooches often have long pins that extend further than the brooch this was to allow the pin to be worn on heavy outer garments.
This brooch is from the estate of the late Jane Sumner (reputable antique dealer and collector of fine antiques and jewellery).
