Sweet Edwardian 9ct, 9k. 375 Gold Turquoise, Pearl and diamond star cluster ring, Circa 1910
A pretty Turquoise, diamond and pearl cluster ring featuring a tiny rose-cut diamond mounted in a star setting surrounded by six cabachon, Turquoise gemstones, the cluster is flanked by two tiny seed pearls mounted in decorative shoulders.
Known as a ‘forget me knot’ design with the blue turquoise and tiny diamond depicting the flower.
This sweet ring was most likely given as a promise ring!
The diamonds are rose cuts (rose cut diamonds are one of the original diamond cuts, the rose cut diamond dates back to the early 1500s. With anywhere from three to 24 triangular facets, rose cut diamonds peak into a dome or kite-shape. This structure resembles the soft curve of a rose petal, hence its name!)

The cluster measures 8.5mm and sits 5.7mm off the finger.
