A rare set of six lace pins in fitted tooled leather box.
There are six 9ct rose gold, lace, baby pins, two with a 3mm Pearl, two with a 3mm Turquoise & two with a 3mm Coral centre each mounted in a collet setting. The pins are complete with a safety pin style fitting.
Each pin measures 25×3.5mm
Very popular during the Victorian and Edwardian period, these pretty lace pins were used to hold lace shawls and pieces of fabric in place, they were discreet, practical and decorative “must haves” for the fashion conscious lady!
This lovely collection is beautifully presented in its original tooled leather fitted case with a silk lid lining, with the following printed in gold:
