Pretty, Victorian 9ct, 9k, 375 Gold Tourmaline & Pearl, berry brooch, lace pin, C1895
A sweet 9ct gold, bar brooch with a centrally mounted berry or flower sprig. A pink tourmaline gemstone resembles the berry or flower bud and a tiny pearl is mounted next to the gold leaf.
Complete with safety pin style fitting.
Very popular during the Victorian and Edwardian period, these pretty lace pins were used to hold lace shawls and pieces of fabric in place, they were discreet, practical and decorative “must haves” for the fashion conscious lady!
