Gorgeous Georgian Demi-parure Seed pearl and Mother of Pearl earrings and brooch, Circa 1820
A rare Georgian demi parure of jewellery consisting of a brooch and matching earrings beautifully made with natural saltwater seed pearls individually hand sewn on to a mother of pearl backing. The earrings have a cluster with a horseshoe design centre, surrounded by heart shaped clusters of pearls, with a larger matching drop. They are complete with a gold metal screw on fittiing. Measurements: 42 x 23mm.
The matching brooch measures 39 x 33mm and is complete with a silver tone metal t-bar and c-clasp fitting. These sets were worn by brides on their wedding day.
This beautiful historic demi-parure will be delivered in a new black leatherette and velvet box.
