Description
Antique Regency, Turquoise and pearl daisy ring, featuring a central seed pearl surrounded by six, Cabochon Turquoise gemstones mounted in a crimped setting. Beautifully made with wide, decorative gold shoulders terminating to a slim shank. Also known as a promise ring, designed as a single forget me knot flower.
The reverse of the ring is a tiny compartment which would originally have held a lock of hair or keepsake.
All beautifully made in 18carat gold.
The head of the ring measures 14 x 7.5mm (from decorative gold shoulder to shoulder).
The Persian Turquoise is a beautiful sky blue colour (with the exception of one that is a darker colour) and the pearl is a lovely silvery grey colour – all gemstones look to be original.
