Exquisite, Victorian 18ct, 18k, 750 Gold Cushion-cut Diamond 1.60ct & Natural Pearl bar brooch Circa 1880
This beautiful bar brooch is mounted with nine mine-cut diamonds mounted in a claw setting in groups of three, trefoil clusters, there are two natural 4.5mm half pearls mounted in between.
The Diamonds are a mix of rectangle and square old cuts and are full of character, they are lively and eye clean with an estimated total carat weight of between 1.30 to 1.60ct. Each diamond measures approximately 3.5 x 4mm and are deep old cuts.
The Pearls are natural saltwater pearls, exhibiting a lovely silvery grey, thick nacre with hues of purple and pink. They have the antique lustrous look that is only seen on natural uncultivated pearls.
Not hallmarked – tested as 18carat gold
Complete with T-bar & C-clasp fitting with overlocking clip.
