Description
Fine ART DECO Platinum & 15 carat Gold Diamond “Love” Arrow Jabot brooch, pin.
Circa 1920
This
beautiful Jabot pin is studded with fifteen, rose-cut Diamonds, mounted
in a fine milligrain setting and would have been made around the 1920’s
(Great Gatbsy era).
The brooch, Jabot pin has a removeable
feather, tail attachment to enable the pin to be worn on a garment with
only the Diamond head and tail of the arrow on display.
Hallmarked: 15ct & PT (denotes 15ct gold and platinum)
The clasp is cleverly concealed within the tail, and works as follows:
To secure the pin, you gently push the pin into the tail until you feel it click.
To release the pin simply hold the head and tail and turn slightly, this unlocks it (worth practising before wearing it)
