Stunning, Art Deco 18ct, 18k, 750 Gold & Platinum, Vari-cut Diamond cluster brooch, pin, Circa 1915
A
fine example of Art Deco workmanship, this beautiful diamond cluster
brooch has been designed with a geometric centre piece nestled in an
intricately designed open worked frame.
Mounted with seventy-seven
mixed cut diamonds (rose-cut & cushion cut) each one individually
mounted in a platinum, millgrain setting.
The centre diamond is the largest, it is a beautiful, deep, old cushion-cut diamond and measures 4×4.4mm approx 0.38ct.
Dated around the early Art Deco period (there are influences from the edwardian period in the design of this piece).
A
truly statement piece, this brooch is dripping with diamonds and would
look stunning clipped onto a pashmina shawl or as a classic accessory on
a LBD.
The carat weight of the Diamonds combined is approx 1.80ct
Not hallmarked but tested as 18ct gold.
