Exquisite, Art Nouveau 9ct, 9k, 375 Gold “Rose de France” Amethyst and seed pearl lavaliere, necklace
Exquisite, Victorian, Lavaliere necklace, featuring a large “Rose de France” pale lilac Amethyst, mounted in an open worked, gold, pearl mounted frame.
This necklace is a fine example from the Art nouveau period, beautifully made in gold with decorative edges and scrolls.
Taking centre stage is a stunning 15 x 10.5 mm (6 ct) faceted Amethyst mounted in a crown setting with a beautiful gold surround, decorated with six natural seed pearls, the centre piece is connected with two lengths of chain to a 4mm Amethyst to a split chain with bolt ring clasp.
Complete with a pear shaped Amethyst “en tremblant” drop.
The Amethyst gemstone is a beautiful pinky, lilac colour known as “rose de france”
