Exquisite, Edwardian ‘Rose de France” Amethyst & Natural Pearl fringe necklace with 9ct chain, Circa 1900
Dated around the Late Victorian, Early Edwardian era, this antique necklace is intricately made with a row of tiny basra pearls, suspended from the pearls are seven, oval faceted Amethyst gemstones, attached with gold wire.
Each tiny pearl measures between 2 – 2.5mm and has been hand drilled by skilled jewellers. These stunning Amethyst ‘Rose de France” gemstones are beautifully matched in a vibrant, light purple colour. The Amethyst each measure approx 10 x 14mm and have a combined carat weight of around 40.00 carats.
