Exquisite, Edwardian Citrine & Natural Pearl fringe necklace with 9ct barrel clasp, Circa 1900
Dated to around the late Victorian, early Edwardian period.
This exquisite necklace is beautifully made with a single row of natural, tiny basra seed pearls hand strung onto a 9ct gold barrel clasp. Suspended from the pearls are nineteen, oval faceted Citrine gemstones attached with gold wire.
A jaw dropping necklace! each of the Citrine drops, glisten and dance as the light reflects against the many facets.
These necklaces would have no doubt graced the neck of a young lady at her debutante ball.
The length of the necklace is a short 14″, if you require a longer length, then a short length of chain can be added at the back (please contact us for more details).
The Citrine gemstones are a beautiful, vibrant rich, golden yellow colour and graduate in size from a central 14.5 x 10 x 7mm down to a 5.7 x 4.2 x 7mm
