Edwardian 9ct Gold, Diamond & Enamel race horse and Jockey brooch, tie pin, stock pin
Circa 1905
Antique, equestrian themed brooch featuring a jockey on a racehorse.
The jockey is finely detailed, sporting pale blue & white enamel silks & white hat. The race horse is skillfully made in Silver and mounted with twenty-two rose cut diamonds with the bridle & saddle in a contrasting yellow gold.
The horse is embellished with a Ruby cabachon eye.
The jockey and horse measure: 20 x 11mm.
Hallmarked: 9ct (denotes 9carat gold) together with makers initials M&M

CONDITION: Sadly the horse has lost part of its back leg and the other back leg is bent backwards. There is also a diamond missing from his ear (this is reflected in the price)
