Exquisite Edwardian 9ct, 9k, 375 Gold Turquoise & Pearl floral, lavaliere, necklace, Circa 1900
Beautifully made during the late Victorian, early Edwardian, Art Nouveau period.
This exquisite, antique necklace features a central section of Turquoise and Pearls, mounted in a foliate design, with a central daisy cluster that has a hidden hook on the back for the attachment of a pendant or little puffy heart.
The centre piece is made up of five solid pieces linked together, it measures 8cm in length and 13mm wide and is attached to a rolo link chain .
Complete with a solid bolt ring and jump ring fitting.

The name Lavalier (also spelt lavalier or lavallière) derived from the name of the Duchesse de La Vallière (1644-1710), one of the mistresses of Louis XIV, who favoured this style of necklace.
