Edwardian, 15ct Gold Pearl and Diamond Crescent & Star tie, stickpin Circa 1901
A fine, quality 15carat gold stick pin featuring a crescent moon mounted with nine graduating seed pearls and a star mounted with a central, bright old-cut diamond with five tiny seed pearls mounted in each of the points. Beautifully made in a high carat yellow gold setting with barley twist pin – not hallmarked but tested to at least 15carat gold.
The Diamond is a bright mine-cut gemstone and measures approx 2mm.
This beautiful pin would probably have been given to a groom on his wedding day or honeymoon, the Crescent represents a new beginning and the diamond everlasting, so the hidden message would be a bride and groom beginning a new life together, forever.
This beautiful antique stick pin comes in a new black leatherette and velvet box as displayed.

WEIGHT: 1.9 grams
HALLMARKS: Not hallmarked but tests to at least 15carat Gold.
