A romantic Edwardian stickpin designed as a gold rope ‘lovers knot’ mounted with a small sea pearl, beautifully made with in 15carat yellow gold.
The horse shoe is detailed with seven nails.
The head of the pin measures 11 x 8.5mm and the length is 65mm
Complete with gold barley twist pin.
Hallmarks: none – tested to at least 15ct gold (possibly higher)
Perfect for a vintage wedding and great heirloom to pass down through the generations! This romantic pin was most likely worn by a groom on his wedding day, with the knot representing “the tying of the knot” and the pearl for purity.
