Art Nouveau Pair of 9ct, 9k, 375 Gold Ruby foliate brooches, Pin, Chester 1908
A rare, pair of brooches from the Edwardian period.
Each brooch is made in 9carat gold and features a flower in a foliate and scroll frame. A single ruby paste stone is mounted in the centre of the flower.
Hallmarked as follows: 9, 375 (denotes 9carat gold) Chester assay mark and H (date letter for 1908)
One of the brooches is engraved with the following date: 23.6.09
