Exquisite, Art Nouveau 9ct, 9k, 375 Gold Amethyst and seed pearl lavaliere, necklace Circa 1895
This necklace is a fine example from the Art nouveau period, beautifully made in gold with decorative edges and scrolls in the form of an abstract heart.
Taking centre stage is a stunning oval 8.5 x 7mm Amethyst, mounted in a collet setting, framed in a beautiful gold surround and complimented with four tiny seed pearls.
The centre piece is connected with two lengths of chain to a 5mm Amethyst again connected to a split chain with barrel clasp fitting.
Complete with a matching 4.5mm Amethyst “en tremblant” drop.
