Beautiful, Art Deco Platinum old-cut Diamond 0.50ct solitaire engagement ring, Circa 1920
This pretty Art Deco Diamond solitaire ring features a 4.7 x 4.2mm old european cut Diamond with a depth of 3.7mm, mounted in a diamond square setting with four tiny, rose cut diamonds mounted in each corner and diamond mounted shoulders,
all set in platinum.
The head of the ring measures 5.8mm and spans across the finger (diamond shoulders) 11.6mm, the ring sits 5mm off the finger in height.
This is a fine example from the Art Deco era, with the square setting and platinum mount.
The Diamond is bright, sparkly and eye clean, with an estimated colour F/G, clarity VVS1 and carat weight 0.40ct with ten additional diamonds on the mount & shoulders, the total carat weight is approximately 0.50 to 0.60ct. This exceptional diamond ring is much brighter than the images.
