Art Deco Platinum, 18ct, 18k, 750 Gold Sureté, Diamond Arrow, Jabot, Brooch pin, 1920’s
This romantic, Jabot pin is studded with fourteen tiny rose-cut Diamonds mounted in a fine milligrain setting and would have been made around the 1920’s (Great Gatbsy era).
The brooch, Jabot pin has a removeable feather, tail attachment to enable the pin to be worn on a garment with only the Diamond head and tail of the arrow on display (please see images).
Also known as a Sureté, (French for “security”) pin. This refers to a pin that is secured with a screw on fitting or by an interior spring.
Hallmarked: Pt & 18ct (denotes Platinum & 18ct gold)
