Stunning, Art Deco 18ct, 18k, 750 White Gold, Diamond & carved Carnelian cluster brooch,
Circa 1925
A fine example of Art Deco workmanship, this beautiful diamond and carnelian cluster brooch has been designed with a central carved Carnelian gemstone mounted in a claw setting with a scallop edged diamond mounted frame.
The carnelian gemstone measures 20 x 15mm, it is a lovely amber red colour and is beautifully carved into a rose and leaf design.
There are eight, rose-cut Diamonds mounted in a millgrain setting.
Complete with T-bar and over locking clasp fitting.
Dated around the early Art Deco period (there are influences from the edwardian period in the design of this piece).
Not hallmarked but tested as 18ct gold.
