Fine, Art Deco 18ct, 18k, 750 Gold & Platinum Ruby and diamond cluster ring, circa 1920
This sweet ring features a central, square Ruby surrounded by twelve, eight-cut Diamonds, mounted in a millgrain setting in a square cluster.
The gemstones are mounted in platinum on a yellow gold mount with gold tapering shoulders and a thick yellow gold shank.
A lovely example of art deco workmanship with the low setting.
There are a total of twelve diamonds with a combined carat weight of 0.12ct
The Ruby measures 3.5mm, it is a lovely, pinky red colour and has a carat weight of approx 0.30ct
Total gemstone weight 0.42ct
Not hallmarked – tested as 18ct gold
