Exquisite, Antique, Victorian 9ct gold Citrine & Amethyst fringe necklace on barrel clasp, Circa 1890
This gorgeous piece of jewellery is beautifully made with a length of chain adorned with Citrine and Amethyst gemstone drops. There are a total of nine oval, faceted Citrines & eight oval, faceted Amethyst gemstones individually mounted in a 9ct gold crown setting. These beautiful gemstone drops are mounted from the centre of the chain at 1 cm intervals, they graduate in size from a central 11 x 6mm Citrine down to a 5.5 x 7.5mm Citrine.
The Citrine gemstones are a beautiful, vibrant rich, golden yellow colour with a combined carat weight of approximately 12:00cts
The Rose de France Amethyst are a vibrant light purple with a combined carat weight of approximately 10:00cts
Total gemstone weight 22 carats
Amethyst is the traditional birthstone for February.
Citrine is the traditional birthstone for November .
