Description
Antique, Victorian 18ct, 18k, 750 Yellow Gold five stone natural Pearl Ring, Circa 1890
This gorgeous piece of jewellery features five lustrous natural pearls mounted in an 18 carat yellow gold solid mount.
The top of the ring measures 16.5mm in length and 6.5mm wide.
The pearls are well matched (they have the onion ring effect – seen in antique pearls). The pearls are a silvery, grey colour with delicate pink and blue hues.
Hallmarked: 18ct (denotes 18carat gold) together with makers initials GB
Pearl is the traditional birthstone for June.
Pearls are a soft gemstone and should be worn with care and protected against perfumes and sprays (as these chemicals will attach the nacre)
