Antique, Georgian 15ct, 15k, 625 Gold Citrine, repousse foliate Brooch, Circa 1820
A Beautiful Antique Gold & Citrine regency brooch, featuring a very Citrine (approximately 18 Carats (20x15x10mm) mounted in a crown setting, surrounded by a gold repousse foliate frame.
The brooch measures 24 x 19mm and is complete with T-bar & C-clasp fitting. The pin protrudes past the edge of the brooch, this was due to heavy garments worn during this period.
The Citrine gemstone is a warm “golden yellow” colour, it is vibrant and clean.
Citrine is the traditional birthstone for November.

Condition: Good – some minor damage to the crown setting – but the citrine is secure in its setting.
Measurements: 24x19mm with a depth of 10mm.
Date: Georgian (1714 to 1830)
